Led by Directors Sean and Karen, who bring over 35 years of combined industry experience, we provide competitively priced recruitment solutions and supply high‑quality staff to clients across the UK.

Originally focused on the logistics sector, our services have evolved in line with client demand. Today, we deliver specialist recruitment across Commercial, Construction, and Logistics, supporting businesses with reliable, well‑matched talent and a service built on trust, consistency, and expertise.

Paul joined Green Light Recruitment in 2014, working closely with Sean on the operational side of the business. In these early years, he played a key role in supporting clients, managing job placements, and contributing to the company’s growth through consistent service and strong relationship‑building.


By 2016, Paul had transitioned into a more specialised role covering payroll, finance, and compliance. His responsibilities now include complete payroll processing, securing client approvals, invoicing and resolving queries, conducting recruitment and compliance checks, and handling insurance‑related matters and enquiries.

With a calm, methodical approach and a strong understanding of the company’s internal processes, Paul has become a central figure in ensuring GLR’s operations remain accurate, compliant, and efficient.

Darren joined Green Light Recruitment in 2016, bringing with him valuable experience from both logistics agencies and the security staffing sector. From day one, he made a significant impact by sourcing high‑quality drivers for the Logistics division and helping to expand the client base through strong relationship‑building and consistent delivery.


As Client Account Manager, Darren sits at the heart of GLR’s operations. His role focuses on ensuring clients receive reliable, timely support and that their staffing requirements are met with professionalism and precision. Working closely with a dedicated internal team, he helps maintain the high operational standards that GLR is known for.


While the role can be demanding and fast‑paced, Darren thrives on the challenge. He takes pride in meeting client needs efficiently and effectively, contributing directly to the smooth running and continued success of the business.

Caroline, Client Account Manager

Caroline recently joined the Green Light Recruitment team, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in commercial property, sales, customer retention, and facilities management. Her career began in the tourism industry before progressing into property management, where she developed strong operational, client‑facing, and organisational skills.


With a background that spans customer service, account handling, and commercial operations, Caroline has naturally transitioned into the recruitment sector. Initially joining GLR in a business development capacity, she quickly demonstrated a strong understanding of client needs and industry demands. She has since moved into a more office‑based role, supporting all aspects of recruitment across the Logistics and Commercial sectors.


Caroline’s blend of commercial awareness, relationship‑building ability, and hands‑on experience makes her a valuable addition to the GLR team as she continues to grow her expertise within the recruitment industry.

Sean, Managing Director

Sean began his recruitment career in 1998, gaining extensive experience with some of the UK’s most established staffing organisations, including BUPA and Driver Hire. Over the years, he built a deep understanding of talent acquisition, compliance, and workforce management across a wide range of sectors, including Medical, Commercial, Education, Construction, and Logistics.


Drawing on this breadth of expertise, Sean later co‑founded a recruitment business with his wife, Karen. Today, the company specialises exclusively in Commercial, Construction, and Logistics recruitment, delivering a focused, high‑quality service built on decades of industry insight.


Known for his hands‑on leadership and commitment to operational excellence, Sean combines strategic thinking with practical experience to help clients secure reliable, well‑matched talent while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Karen, Finance Director

With a strong background in insurance claims and assessments, Karen built her early career on accuracy, compliance, and detailed case management. Since joining GLR, she has expanded her expertise significantly, taking ownership of the company’s financial and administrative operations.


Karen now oversees banking, HMRC submissions, accounts, pensions, and payroll, ensuring the business runs smoothly and remains fully compliant. Through hands‑on learning and continuous development, she has gained a clear, confident understanding of the company’s financial structure and plays a central role in maintaining its stability and growth.


Her blend of analytical skill, financial discipline, and operational reliability makes her an essential part of GLR’s leadership team.
